Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University (NEVÜ) has been awarded institutional accreditation following the evaluations conducted within the scope of the Institutional Accreditation Program implemented by the Turkish Higher Education Quality Council (YÖKAK).

The Institutional Accreditation Program, carried out by YÖKAK to enhance quality assurance systems at higher education institutions, aims to evaluate universities’ education and training, research and development, societal contribution, and governance processes within a comprehensive quality assurance framework. Under the program, higher education institutions’ quality assurance systems, institutional governance structures, and continuous improvement mechanisms undergo an extensive evaluation process.

Following the site visits conducted by YÖKAK, the preparation of the Institutional Accreditation Report (IAR), and the reviews carried out by the Consistency Committee, NEVÜ successfully met the required quality standards and qualified for institutional accreditation.

Rector Aktekin: “This Achievement Marks an Important Milestone in Our Institutional Quality Journey”

NEVÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Semih Aktekin stated that the institutional accreditation was a significant outcome of the University’s quality-oriented efforts.

Emphasising the vital role of quality assurance processes in the institutional development of universities, Aktekin noted that the accreditation served as an important indicator of NEVÜ’s efforts to achieve its institutional development goals.

Aktekin also stated that the inclusion of NEVÜ’s institutional accreditation status in the Higher Education Institutions Examination (YKS) Preference Guide would provide an important reference for prospective students considering the University.
