International Students Celebrate Graduation at NEVU TÖMER
Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University (NEVU) Turkish and Foreign Languages Teaching Application and Research Center (TÖMER) held a graduation ceremony for international students who successfully completed their Turkish language education.
The ceremony, held at NEVU TÖMER, was attended by Deputy Directors Assist. Prof. Dilek Kocayanak and Lecturer Dr. Burak Beken, as well as Lecturer Dr. Eyüp Can Ekinci. Bringing together international students from various countries, the event celebrated the achievements of those who successfully completed their Turkish language education while also highlighting the academic, social, and cultural competencies they acquired throughout the program.
Speaking at the ceremony, the international students stated that the Turkish language education they received at NEVU TÖMER not only enhanced their language proficiency but also provided them with an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of Türkiye and Turkish culture. Expressing their appreciation for the care and support they received at the University, the students extended their gratitude to NEVU Rector Prof. Semih Aktekin, the University administration, and the academic staff of TÖMER for the academic and administrative support provided throughout their studies.
The students further noted that the knowledge, experience, and friendships they gained at NEVU would continue to guide them throughout their lives, adding that they were leaving the University with cherished memories.
The ceremony concluded with the graduates sharing the joy of graduation during the traditional cap-tossing ceremony, followed by commemorative photographs.
